What are THE WINE LANDSCAPES?

THE WINE LANDSCAPES is the BIKE & WINE SPAIN´s proposal to immerse yourself in the landscape and winemaking universe of NORTHERN SPAIN, on the back of a bicycle.

The distinguishing feature compared to other, seemingly similar, options is that, in addition to the winery visits and tastings typically offered on these types of trips, the routes at THE WINE LANDSCAPES explore the region in a sought-after balance between pure countryside and mountain scenery and wine-producing landscapes: wineries, vineyards, terroirs, small vineyards with old vines hidden in the mountains, etc.

The proposals go beyond simply showing a more or less beautiful vineyard, but include a more oenological discourse that highlights the work carried out in the field and delves into the elements that go into creating a terroir and that are not visible to the naked eye. We talk about winemakers, viticulturists, producers, associated wineries, etc. And obviously, we will delve into the product resulting from the work of all those people and elements involved in the process: the wine, and when applicable, the specific wine that emerges from that terroir, the Vino de Paraje, around which this proposal largely revolves and which will invariably appear in our glasses at the end of the day.

In the gastronomic aspect, although the same localization structure provided by the Vinos de Paraje, cannot be maintained in such a compact manner, the intention of using products as local as possible is maintained, such that the final result can be summarized in the phrase:

"The landscape on the table, expressed in both the glasses and the dishes."

The proposal from a logistics point of view is precise; Once the trip has been decided among the 5 available zones, (NAVARRA, LA RIOJA, ARAGÓN-CATALUNYA, EL DUERO and LEÓN-ZAMORA). You choose the LANDSCAPES you want to travel through from among the options available on the selected trip and inform us of this, also adding the level of physical demand you want the routes to have.

Everything else is up to us, depending on your choice, we will choose the most appropriate hotels, tours, vineyards, wineries, and Wine-Gastronomic Experiences so that the trip is close to "perfection".
It´s that simple!

The above is the "simple", but there is also something difficult in all of this. What is difficult?
The difficult thing is the choice of the LANDSCAPES.
Don´t come crying to us for help! The only reason we have such a variety of LANDSCAPES is because we like them all—otherwise, they wouldn´t be here!

The journey starts here, as the saying goes, but this time, it´s for real... You will have to explore the different LANDSCAPES and find your own reasons for choosing one or the other. Maybe a specific winery or wine that you know or want to know... a region or mountainous area that you have heard about... or maybe... just the opposite; a place that you have never heard of and that from the images we show promises to offer surprises - in truth there will be - eno-landscape surprises (true, we have invented the term).

If you insist on letting us decide your LANDSCAPES, we will, but we´ll have to roll the dice!

¿Que son los ULTRA PREMIUM WINES BIKE TOURS?

The trips we discuss in this section are unique journeys that emerge from the term used in the wine world to describe Great Wines: that is, ULTRA-PREMIUM wines.

The inclusion of these wines in the packages—including their tasting at the end of the day—along with the hotel selection—always at the limit of Excellence—and all this combined with the Wine and Gastronomic Experiences designed specifically for each day of the trip by carefully selected restaurateurs and sommeliers, "impose" the label with which we refer to these trips;
ULTRA PREMIUM WINES BIKE TOURS.

The proposal revolves around specific wines, one might say "with a name and surname." Wines that are "iconic" for one reason or another. We will invariably visit the places where it all begins and where the vines from which the grapes sprout are found, the source of the must that, after long and patient elaboration, will end up in our glasses. They will usually be hidden on lonely mountain slopes or in the moors of the EMPTY SPAIN. We will also visit—when possible—the wineries that process this nature and treasure it in barrels and bottles.
Along the route, stories of other wines that compete—or coexist—in the same territory and emerge from the Terroirs we encounter will also appear. From these, we will also select some of the most promising to complete the "Experience" that closes each day.
